Comments: Like the girls of the story, I too enjoy Yard & Garage Sales. There were times I bought things on a whim which I neither needed, nor had a use for. Example would be a baby rocker type crib which I placed a really big stuffed "Harley Pig" into. After a couple weeks, I put the pig back on a chair and hung the crib in the garage where it has been for a couple years.
I found the excerpt of the story to tickle my interest.
There is another of my good friends, who writes children's books. He is also a Marine and has written a semi autobiography titled "The Cross and the Sword." His name is Perry McMullin. If you have a interest in contacting him for whatever reason, please advise and I'll hook you both up.
Respectfully, Joe MIller
Admin reply: Thanks for posting Joe. Great to hear from you. And yes, it the answer to the question. Always delighted to touch base with other children's authors.

Comments: I recently sat down to read about half of this book before bed one evening. Well, it drew me in so much that I had to read the whole thing in that one sitting. It's a fun light read for "tweens" or older folks, but with some interesting references that could inspire the reader to do some other investigations. Definitely an engaging style. Can't wait for Book 2!
Admin reply: Thank you for your kind words. I have been discovering that just as many adults have read the book. What an intriguing development!
